FAQs

University students enrolled in a Bachelor program (from the second semester onwards), a Master or PhD program – no matter what discipline – who have at least another six months to go.

You can directly apply here. All we need from you is your current CV including grades (Abitur & studies), your transcripts and information about your planned end of studies.

After we’ve received your complete application (CV, grades, info on planned conclusion of studies) it’ll usually take us about two weeks to get back to you.

The single most important criterion for us is your interest in Bain & Company and the consulting industry in general. In addition, you should be enrolled at a university – in a Bachelor, Master, or PhD program – in your second semester or higher, and have at least another six months to go. All fields of study are welcome. In screening your application documents, we’ll specifically look for academic achievements and, depending on your subject and level, perhaps some initial practical experience.

You can remain a Spark member until you obtain your degree (Bachelor‘s, Master’s or equivalent, or PhD) or until you apply for an internship or permanent position with Bain.

Absolutely! You decide for yourself what parts of the program are most interesting and useful to you.

Not always, but the odds are on your side. If our impression was good you’ll receive an invitation to join the Spark program. Alternatively, you can always take the initiative and submit an application.

Not automatically, no. But if you’re a Spark member you definitely meet some of our criteria and we look forward to your application for an internship or permanent position. To apply, please use our online application tool
